Quote Fest
I have been battling this week to come up with innovative ideas to do with jewellery/sculpture; and trying to make these ideas: creatable, interesting enough for me to want to make them, appealing to potential customers, and financially viable. So far I have not succeeded.
The more I fail, the more I find myself looking to what really makes me tick artistically; because if the task seems almost insurmountable I would rather it involved a medium that I really enjoy working with. So in failure could I actually be getting closer to what I am looking for?
“I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.”
― Thomas A. Edison
“Nearly every person who develops an idea works at it up to the point where it looks impossible, and then gets discouraged. That's not the place to become discouraged.”
― Thomas A. Edison“When you have exhausted all possibilities, remember this - you haven't.”
― Thomas A. Edison“Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.”
― Thomas A. EdisonMy thanks to Mr Edison:)

Bare Canvas...
This is what I like: change, new beginnings. This Blog will document my creative development; the travel in an alternative direction. The nurturing of what makes me tick, what I am good at and the acceptance of what I'm not so good at. This is the last throw of the creative dice.
They say that when contributing to a Blog which intends to bring people along for the ride, to buy into what you are selling, then it must be overtly positive; but I intend to wear my heart on my sleeve and yes incorporate as many metaphors as humanly possible into my posts:)
